Think Differently

Our 2019 resolution is to bring you a different major key to financial success each month. It’s our commitment to help make a difference in the lives of our clients.

We’re going beyond making sure you aren’t “Ridin’ Dirty” and helping you lay a good foundation for your future wealth.

With Easter closing in on us, I began to think about this key to your financial health.

You must think different and act differently.

You can’t only write down your plans, you have to act. Plus, you have to act differently than you have every done, to go places you have never gone. Say this to yourself, "It’s not enough to believe something, you have to act like you believe it".

In the mid 1800’s there was an amazing tight rope performer named Charles Blondin. He was the first to ever cross Niagara Falls by tight rope, a distance of about 11,000 feet. He reportedly crossed the falls over 300 times performing various feats of balance, on a bike, blindfolded, in the dark, all without a net and he awed the crowds. He was hailed as the greatest tightrope walker in the world.

On one occasion Blondin, brought a wheel barrow with a sack of potatoes in it to the falls and pushed it across the gorge. On the return trip he asked the crowd, do you believe that I can push this with a person in it? Yes, yes! the crowd shouted enthusiastically. Any volunteers he replied. None.

This is the difference of belief and action. Sure you believe in the goals you'd like to achieve, sure you believe in the future you'd like to craft, but show your belief by your action.

As an example, Easter is a reminder that God didn’t just talk about creating relationship with us, he put his words into action. Or rather His Word. See what I did there.
